can anyone tell me how the bottom ball joints are held in to the lower arm and if its an easy driveway job for a reasonably competant diy'er . I,ve not looked at the job on the car but have seen the part on ebay an it looks like a press fit or maybe a large circlip ? it would be nice to get this sorted for under a tenner rather than paying for a whole bottom arm . Sorry for posting this before ive looked at the job but its pouring down today so your advice/help would be great , many thanks .

#3sorry guys , forgot the search button . Sounds easy nuff . New question , can this be done with heat from a diy blow torch or is oxy/acet needed ?

#4Only ever used oxy acetalene before. It sounds and looks easy but tbf I would not want to do one again, done a few and always been cunts to do.
I would remove the wishbone and take it to a garage, make the job sound really minor like can you just whip a new ball join on for us if you have a minute and they will probably only charge you a tenner or something. I would much rather someone else have the hassle. -
#5i just press them in and out with fly press, even then i've had a few stubborn ones
