    Hello all

Between 70-80 mph my saxo makes odd noises/vibrations.

It only does it when turning slightly...ie from slow to middle lane...its sounds/feels like hitting the rumble strip on the hard shoulder.

Drive shafts were replaced about 3 months ago so I doubt its the cv joints. blaancing was done recently to.

Im going to check the bearings now, but when the shafts were fitted they were checked and seemed ok.

It could possable be one of a hundred things? Im thinking something on the steering rack?

Check that your wheels are on tight, and that they are balanced.... mine did this and it was just a wheel that was out of balance, got it done and it stopped.

    Thanks for the replys

maybe it could be steering rack aswell?

I would have thought that if it was the balancing then it would do it when traveling in a straight line also?

Say 75mph, turn wheel right about 1 cm and get a proper rumble noise like hitting the hard shoulder!

Its going into garage wednesday....hopefully not massive bucks...its only worth about £300!
