Hi guys need some advice on buying a saxo.

There's a saxo for sale near to where i live, its a mark 1 VTR "T" reg in red with 70,000 miles on the clock, its got a kenwood radio/ CD player with an ipod connection, its also got tax till august and MOT until december.

The owner wants £650 for it and i was just wondering if thats a good price? or is it not worth that much. Thanks

Depends on your budget mate? How much do you have to spend? Remember insurance etc.. Look on autotrader and see what kind of cars you can get for your budget? I got a 2001 MK2 VTR, with service history and 58,000 on the clock with a power steering fault (cost £60 to fix) for £800...

Completely depends on the condition of the car, go round it and check everywhere for rust, check to see if there is no play in the rear axle, no knocking or grinding noises when the car is being driven, tax and mot etc, and only then you can tell if the car is worth the asking price

Sounds cheap mate, chances are something could be about to break. Give it a good look over and don't look at it in rose tinted glasses! There will always be another one
