swapped everything

Hi, I have been reading all those similar problems, but not one like mine, Here is my short story; bought my 1999 SAXO VTS 2 weeks ago, was running OK, but not great, would sometimes feel like running on 3 cylinders in idle after a hard drive. So after reading through the forum, I thought I could cure the problem, so I replaced the lambda sensor, coilpack, IAT sensor, MAP sensor and the green water temp. sensor yesterday, then reset the ECU, now when starting from cold it pulls well, doesnt have that hole between 3-5K RPM it had before. But once it gets warm, it will idle very rough and will stall. I am not sure what I've done wrong. But the small issue I had is now a serious problem. Any clues on what could have gone wrong? and why it would run fine from cold, then so bad when warm?

    any help apreciated
    cheers

have you checked the engine bay fuses?

i have this problem, and still have so be interested to know. I can only personally put it down to being a crap engine for me, hence why a new lower mileage jp4 is going in. May run well for others or for previous owner but for me just has been problematic.

I really think it is the engine management, not the engine itself

If you've already done the coil pack I would suggest chsnging the battery.

Also worth changing the ICV and cleaning the throttle body out

I will try the battery, and will clean the throttle body, but the ICV is only responsible for the idle speed, correct? It does act up through while driving after it got hot, hesitation and rough pulling.

Are there any other sensors, and is it really the green sensor in the thermostat housing and not the blue that delivers the signal to the ECU?

Put the old coilpack in and saw the lambda sensor plug was loose, now it runs fine again, does not pull as hard as before but it could be because the lambda sensor was not leaning the mixture.

    thanks for all the help
