    Hi my brakes on my mk1 saxo seem quite unresponsive, i was wondering do saxo's suffer from any common faults that could be related to this thanks =]

    What model is it? vtr/vts/1.1?
    What condition are the brakes in, pads faded or glazed?
    How is your brake fluid?

    Might also want to check the vac pipe :-)

    If they`re the 1.1 brakes as in you`re avatar then they`ll be drum brakes at the rear & discs at the front.So the 1st i`d do is check the fluid level paying attention the insides of the drums looking for leaks etc.If thats okay then bleed the brakes & visually check the brake pads as well.

    Also what tyres have you fitted, as this can affect braking!

    Saxo brakes aren't the best anyway but if you're sure something's up then first of all check the basics, basically what Steve said above

    Dont expect wonders but they are fine for a base model if thats what you have (going on sig). Bleed them, maybe a pad change if they are worn and check for leaks and so on
