   yes mate, i found it increased the flow of oil to the cylinder head, don't know why no-one else has tried it

   Ah i see so how you get round the big ends just weld the conrods on to the crank?

   no, i employed a small Albanian eunuch to manually oil the big ends using a syringe,naturally it had no bonnet so access was no problem. I've had to abandon the project as i have no Albanian eunuch boys left and the Lithuanian variety just aren't quick enough.

   Off topic with the albanians but on the engines you put in is the headgasket all changed prior ?

   not if its not needed, i always do cam belt,water pump,clutch,oil and filter prior though. If customer wants the head gasket doing to be on the safe side we do it for the cost of the parts/skimming etc

    tis true, i had a vts engine in the boot of my 406 estate until lunchtime today, i've since delivered it though so back to hdi powaaah

    mk1 vts mani and downpipe
    for sale if you need them
