power problem

   right when i get in my car to head off to work or where ever im going. when ever i put my foot down the battery light will flicker and it there will be no power then all of a sudden it will stop and wheel spin to hell. scary stuff lol. checked battery connection they seem fine. it doesnt do it ever day driving it just like 1/4 chance. but if i leave it and go back to it 30 mins later it will work fine

   Sounds like a dodgy earth or something
   
   Check the connections on the alternator, they're know to corrode
   
   You'll probs break down when you eventually loose the earth altogether

   Sounds more like fan belt slipping to me not tyres squealing!!
