rear lights what you think?

#2Not into them myself, would rather a set of mk1 rears if i was going for a darker look. But they are better than a lot of lights out there!
-
#3Not for me ...
Also you cannot see the rear reflectors making them ILLEGAL for road use.
If you did buy these, I'm fairly certain you would need to fit additional reflectors to your car to compensate.
They may "Allow light to pass" but if they don't reflect light light, you car is near invisible parked up at night.
AVOID

Quote:the lights have to visible in the day time and the brake lights have to be clearly visible.
the reflectors also have to be visible (don't paint over them) or if you do paint over them then you will have to (by law) put reflectors on your bootlid/rear bumper. your car will not go through an mot without some form of reflector on the back. -
#4Ah I wanted a set of these myself, maybe not as dark but similar, are they actually illegal coz me and my mates can get pulled up a lot by the police in our area so probs wouldn't let me off if I did buy a set, anyone know any sites that do em. Not much choice on eBay...

#5Those are homemade DIY specials mate done with tinting spray.
-
#6oh yeah i know you can get tint spray for them but im sure you can get them made like that? or is it all the same process just obviously more professional? if so il just do it myself...
-
#7Only difference would be is that a pro would use a compressor with a spray gun.If you took your time & masked off properly they`d come out good.Just remember light coats,if they come out too dark then lightly sand them down.
-
#8I love em
I did mine myself
Mine dont look to that standard though
-
#9just tint yours mate, just not too dark!
-
#10I like Lexus lights myself
-
#13I have rear Lexus lights on mine didn't like them much so tinted them blue to match car, just a couple of coats change the look completely passed mot so should be ok
-
#14Lexus lights just ruin the car, i think it can make the car look 10x worse just for having them tbh but everyones got their own opinion i guess, but yeah i think il buy some tinting spray and go from there

#15btw people i know this probably isnt the place to ask but how do i go about having 'my citroen saxo vtr project' or 'my 1.1 saxo' under my posts i see almost everyone with it under there message just dunno how to go about it, obviously its so people can view ur car and comment rather than fishing thru all the pages, any help quick??

#16They look good man, but a little too dark IMO.. If you do get them, post a pic. Wouldn't mind seeing what they would look like on the car bud.
