Right im thinking of Buying a 1.4 center pipe to replace the standard vtr pipe with the silencer on it so there isn't a silencer will this work? and if so will it fit right on to the standard vtr backbox, i do have an aftermarket but putting the standard box back on as the aftermarket one has a hole untill i can buy another one (Y) and the center is starting to get a hole aswell so i thought maybe of just buying the 1.4 pipe so it takes the silencer away for when i get my new backbox dont wanna really spend heaps of money buying a supersprint ect as im gonna be skint after getting my new backbox so all i wanna know is will thsi work? i know about it being smaller diamiter pipe ect but i just wanna know if it will fit right its not shorter or anything? and will it fit right on to to the vtr backbox need to know asap

#3Yes this should be fine, I put a 1.4 furio centre section onto my westie to de-cat and take the silencer away. And the pipes are the same length and the standard exhaust will fit
-
#4well i have a phase 2 vtr my cat is in the mani so wont decat mine, all this will do is take away the silencer so basically leaving me with a cat back, the exhaust is from a 1.4 furio
so this will deff fit my phase 2 vtr and will fit with the standard phase 2 vtr backbox/aftermarket one?
also as the diamiter of the pipe is abit smaller will i need to get a 1.1/1.4 mesh gasket for the join at the downpipe? -
#5they should be the same, the parts are almost the same with most saxos so down worry
-
#6okay so the center should fit to the manifold but what about the backbox being a smaller diamiter pipe would this effect it fitting to the vtr backbox
