Hi guys just pick up my Saxo from garage was impress by how she look so low without rubbing however I've had a big bust up 55 min ago with garage because the drivers side is much lower than the passangers 'how ever what size bar do I need to bash the passanger bar out . I know you go from driver side to passangers to knock it out it's only one side I need to do can you guys give me the run up on what I need and what bar size I need to knock bar out thanks

its not as easy as just 'knocking the bar out' lol

take it back to them to do it properly. Im guessing they did it by notches/splines therefore one side lower than the other which happens sometimes

from what I understand you want to finish the job yourself? if the bars have already been removed by the garage they should come out pretty easily so you just need to remove the torx bolts & washers from each side and then you can use the big socket and bolt method to pull the torsion bar out rather than knocking it out although if you do need to hit it out an old torsion bar is a good to use if you can get hold of one. I take it you already know how to set the height?

personally would'nt take it back to that garage sounds like they don't know what they are doing

chances are if its sitting lob sided they've done it by notches, in which case only one end of the torsion bar will have come out. Bum amateurs

Hi guys and thank you vary much for all the replays ' I took it back to the crap ass garage and the guy said the bars had come out freely so he said he gave me my money back due to me saying ill go trading standards formula one are not aloud to do this because I'm thinking it was done off the books
How ever yes I'm going to do it my self the drivers side is fine and look good but the passanger s side is about 2o mill higher and when I'm driveing it boots on that side so yes I'm going to do it my self
I ask the guy paul who did how did you measure the lowernest he said from hub to arch that's wrong I'm sure so more advice is needed please

ask him what method did he do? did he remove the bars completely and measure the distance, or did he remove the trailing arm and rotate it by clicks/notches?

google the guides, badgermotorsport lowering & suzukituning lowering

in one end, pull it slightly with an arrangement of washers/sockets and a long bolt, whilst on the other end, wack it out with a large hammer and metal bar (jack handle/spare torsion bar etc)
