Bought a new car today, test drove it and everything seemed fine, went through its MOT today, have the certificate and everything.

    However noticed a few things,
When at like 70mph, take my foot off accelerator slightly and a whine noise happens.

tapping noise on side of car at front SOMETIMES (not CV joints) as they had brand new ones fitted.

and coming home today Engine fucking management light came on, was giving the engine a good seeing to though,

Any ideas on what this could possibly be ? feel like such a fucking mug £1500 and all this shit happens not even a day into owning the cunt.

These cars are getting on and suspension and transmission noises do occur.

If its a slight whine i wouldn't worry its most likely the transmission/gearbox mines noisy and has been for sometime. I drive new cars at work with noiser gearboxes. However it might be worth checking and topping up the gearbox oil.

Tapping noise could be the engine itself? they are very loud tappety french engines.

Engine management light could be many things, most likely the lambda sensor as you were giving it some. Take it out give it a wipe over.

Hmm, got my girlfriends granddad to use his diagnostic thing to reset the error, he said on the menu it went straight to the erase option with no error code so he said it's no big deal and can just come on sometimes anything can cause it and to not worry about it if it comes on again tomorrow hes gonna reset it once more then if it does it again he said I should take it to a garage, and the noises arent too much of a worry tbh, as you can imagine i just saw engine management light thought oh fuk, then got paranoid as shit lol, guess i'll not thrash it as much either might top up oil and shit though just for good luck

make sure you give it a service before you start thrashing the poor thing!!!

filters, oil, plugs, takes a couple of hours max and then you know its done atleast.
