    a mate of mine is stripping a 1.4 206 and seems to fit that the engine and axle and front legs will fit mine will they????

    they are including the engine box drive shafts and ecu as well as rear axle complete

    mine is a mk1

    Engine Will fit if you change all the bolt on mountings for ancillaries
    axle and front suspension won't

    Also if you are thinking of the gearbox the linkage pick up is also different

    As said, no the rear axle and front suspension set up is different so no point in having those, engine is do-able using your mounts etc, but that's up to you whether to do that, when you can buy complete vtr engine set-ups for pennies these days its hardly worth it imo.
