over heating / fan not working

   up and till 2 days ago my fan was kickin in as normal, and temp would go just about half way and stay there or go down. but now my temps shooting up to 3/4 or more and fan dont seem to be kicking in, im gonna check fuse for fan tomorrow but if the fuse is fine is there any ideas what could be the problem? iv checked my oil, water all usual and is ok let me know, cheers

   fan fuse has probs popped
   
   its been warm so its no surprise cars will over heat if the fan stops working
   
   check its got plenty water etc as it may have boiled some

   Also try changing the thermostat
