Door won't unlock or open

    Got a1.1 so no central locking. My lock has been playin up recently and to open the door I had to put key in the lock and turn it as I pull up the handle, that's the only way it would open. But this morning I can't unlock it at all and the handle seems dead springy than usual like its come unattached from what ever it connects to to uncatch the door if you get me... And the button u pull up to unlock it only goes up so far. Any ideas please? :s
    It's the passenger door btw.

    I`m assuming you`ve got a 5dr?Anyhows you`ll have to take off the doorcard then the soundproofing material on the affected door.Then check with a torch & mirror to see if the metal control rod has become detached.

    No it's only a 3 door and I can't get the door card off without the door being open due to where the screw is, I'm pretty sure it's become detached. How do you mend this?

    So trying the door latch inside does nothing then?Only other suggestion as you`re in Derby mate is to pop up to mandyslover70(whoe`s near you)
