Loud grinding noise

   Was on way back home when my car just started to make a very loud grinding noise. Opened the windows and there was another small noise. Coming from he passengr side. Hard to pin point exactly where it was coming from. Was the same in gear and rolling. Anyone have an idea on what it could be? Thanx

   Caliper or Brake problem ? You could Jack the car up on the passenger side and turn the wheel by hand.

   Maybe a stone/piece of grit trapped between the brake pad & disc?
