Engine management light, help

   Can anyone help, my engine management light comes on when the car is idling but as the revs go above 1500 or so it go off and it's hesiting when pulling away, it's 1998 vtr black top, only mods are pipercross air filter and a 4-2-1 manifold, cats only two months old, new plugs, new water temp sensor help.

   Lambda sensor? Could do with plugging it in really otherwise it will all be guessing...

   Was thinking of pluging it in but don't no it will work my ecu has only one plug most say you can't read the fault codes unless you have a three plug ecu but thanks for your help

   Cleaned the idle control valve and replace lambda seem to have solved it engine managerment light is off and car running ok cheers
