Need advice on something to do with air filter

   Hello, I'm a complete novice when it comes to cars, got myself a used Saxo 1.1, there was a reason for not shopping around and also for looking under the bonnet only now. So, I looked there today and this pipe which is further in the image below (the one next to the yellow engine oil bit) is cracked and also disconnected on the left end from this air filter - or whatever that is... - compartment.
   
   
   
   How much this is an issue and what should/could I do about it? I tried to search the forum but couldn't find an answer.
   
   Very grateful in advance for your input!

   Its nothing important at all mate, you can take it off if you want...
   
   Couple of questions, whys your Radiator missing, and was your Username meant to be Stoaner, but you fucked up?

   Hi,
   thank you very much. The image comes from online, it's been used in some other thread here. I will check if my car has still got radiator, provided I manage to figure out where it should be

   Well if you mean the plastic bendy pipe just below the yellow dipstick , its nowt important, just some sort of cold air feed to keep manifold cool, if i remember correctly.
