loosing water

   Hi, I have been loosing around 1/2 Liter of water on 200 miles, no white smoke from the exhaust, no water leakage from the heater matrix, the rad and hoses are no leaking, no water under the car, but today I say a screw on the block under the intake manifold with pink crystals building all around it (coolant is pink), does anyone what function this screw has, does it have a gasket or can I just go ahead an tighten it?

   iirc they can leak from around the inlet.

   Is it a bleed screw?
   I dont know whnat engine you have, so I dont know where all the bleed points are (if they differ between engines). But if it is, I would tighten it up, Wouldnt need a gasket or anything like that though.

   Sorry, it is a 1999 VTS 1.6 a6V
