Radio/flat battery

   Hi all, just bought the other half a Y reg VTR and it's got an aftermarket Headunit in, noticed it wasn't storing stations so I pulled it and the red and yellow needed swapping, now it's draining battery flat, when keys are out you cannot turn radio so that ain't the issue I just can't understand why it would drain it. Any ideas?

   hi, i had this aswell. Had a look and had to change it so the red wire joined on to the yellow one and vise versa. I know its weird but it worked, stopped the battery draining. Or is that how you've got it now?

   Remove the radio,charge the battery then see if the battery goes flat.

   That's how I've got them now so can't store stations, and since I put it back to this the battery holds charge again
