What is better the saxo vts or the c2 vts?
Best engine?

#2C2 vts.. Newer engine / bigger valve's / smoother power delivery / Usually less miles / more power. (125bhp vs 120bhp although that's with the metal inlet etc)
However has softer valve springs.. so if regularly taken over 7k / planning a cam upgrade.. it would be wise to fit stronger valve springs.

#3So c2 with better valve springs. Might just get cheapest one

#4The C2 VTS engine aka JP4S.. Has better cam's / higher rev limit than a normal C2 VTR aka JP4..
So if getting a 'cheap' one / a JP4.. the engine normally rev's to 6500. Therefore when putting saxo management on that engine.. it will allow it to rev to 7200.
But seen as the cams are designed to be rev'd to 6500.. There won't be any power at 6500+
Whereas the C2 VTS engine (JP4S) Has cam's designed to go to 7200rpm.. So will still make power after 6500 unlike the JP4 engines.
Unless you fit saxo cams to the JP4.. that way it'll still make power after 6500.. However the saxo cam lobe's don't line up properly in the JP4 head.. But people have used them that way.
I'd get a C2 VTS engine or a normal saxo VTS.. As there will be a fair bit of work to do to the JP4 to get it 'as good' as the VTS.
