break lights

    i have a real problem and i havent a clue where to start

    last night driving home got pulled over by the pigs for my break light and manner of driving ( just keep saying sorry then you be fine )


    anyway

    they told me ive got a break light out and i was telling them i had sorted it before so he turn it on nd my lights worked and pressed break it lit up

    then he tryed it with my lights on nd it lit up all 3 lights
    then he press break and the passenger and 3rd break light cut out :/

    so they worked, he tried again and they failed? or what?

    They worked with the lights off.

    He turned the lights on.. so all 3 are illuminated, then they should go brighter when pressing the brake..

    But 2 lights went off completely.

    That's his problem..

    if I am reading it right it sounds to me like you have an earthing problem
    if so the termianl on the light unit need a clean up
