Few Questions

  1. #1
    1. If I disconnect my battery for 30min or so will it be ok for me to disconnect my ecu? Or will it lock?

    2. Will a mk2 4-2-1 or 4-1 mani fit a mk1?

    3. I'm replacing my radiator, will it be ok for me to drain it and leave it off until my new one arrives?

    4. How do you take off the bit off plastic that covers the wiper motors?

    5. Finally, How do I get Charcoal Canister off? (black thing behind drivers side wing)

    Thanks in advance

Pretty sure the mani will be fine, the only time you have to worry about different fittings is from 8v/16v. After that it's just the whole lambda sensor thing, there's loads of threads on here about it though so just have a search

    4. How do you take off the bit off plastic that covers the wiper motors?
2 Torx style nuts though a small socket about 5.5mm ish works

under the ECU plate are 2 10mm head nuts loosend them off the the canister will slide up a little to lift out
