vts engine in a 1.0 shell

    Okay its just a small project alongside my boosted vtr but will the engine go in ? I have a whole vts engine/box engine and interior loom and ecu, would it be a case of just swapping everything or are the mounts different ? Thanks

    I could say SEARCH you`ll have to mod 1 of the mounts(ie weld in)but their are tons of threads/advice on this mate.

    Well why don't you just help him than rather be a dick.

    I have a 1.0 too, lightweight poverty spec, only weighed 775kg on the weigh bridge

    All you need is to weld a VT Engine mount (one next to the ECU) and everything else should just fit as normal.

    You will need different driveshafts and different hubs too.

    Okay thanks for the advice on a scale of 1-10 how hard is it to do ? I have everything tool wise and a I'm a welder so have access to a mig welder

    Well why don`t you keep your bloody nose out?The search facility is quite simple if more people used it there would be less crap on the forum.
