cat location

   Newbie question here i've got a 2001 y reg vts and its nearly mot time, do i need an undefloor cat or is it in the ehxaust manifold. Got a 421 manifold with milltech exhaust system will this require a standard system or can i just get a cat for it cheers for any comments.

   you have an under car cat, that mani will be fine.

   oh I've just re-read that properly, you need a horizontal cat. if you have a decat pipe then its a straight swap, if you have a straight through system then you need the cat and the other half of the mid section.
