    any help?

Crank sensor plugged in/try swapping it all the earths ok?
  3. #3
all earths are ok and crank sensor is good
  4. #4
Do you have a feed to your coilpack?
You should have 12v at the coil (big light blue wire I think) when cranking the engine
  5. #5
yeah got the 12v when cranking to
  6. #6
    sorry its 10v
  7. #7
    bump

    any one?

Without being with the car it's hard to think!
    100% no spark yes?
    How did you check?
You'll have to start checking the switching side of the coil wiring back to the ecu!
You said all the earths were ok, have you got the black coil earth with the suppressor in it fitted to earth?
With one pin from your multimeter in the light blue and one in the black wire do you get 10-12v showing on your multimeter when cranking?

    100% no spark
coil out with plugs in and rest on cam cover
yes suppressor to earth well bolted to block
just checked light blue pin to black wire and getting 9.7v when cranking
    thanks for the help

also its a 106 gti loom single plug, are they ment to have a fuel cut off as no plug for one on this loom and fuel gauge goes up and down case this is linked

    It's a 106 gti loom into a Saxo?
I have done several 16v conversions and 106 looms do not work in Saxo's!?
Though the one we had problems with didn't work in many many ways, so it seems odd that the only problem you have is no spark!?
Technically as you have a feed and earth at your coilpack, the other 2 wires go straight back to the control unit to be actuated to create a spark so it wouldn't matter what the loom is out of!?
Have you just plugged the loom in or cut and soldered it?
If its a gti loom you should have a second white plug on it that goes into the inner wing, what did you do with that plug?
Or if it's a Saxo loom it has 2 plugs that go straight into the bottom of the fusebox to feed your ignition relay.
Is it a known good running engine and coilpack?
Do you have a fault code reader?
    Where are you located?

Are you sure the ecu is unlocked?? Sounds like immobiliser to me ,
does the dash beep continually when cranking???
  12. #12
    we cut and soldered wires
i cut that off when soldering loom what was that for lol
i only have 2 wires not connected from engine loom they are 142 & 870
yes engine is fine coilpack good tried spare to be sure

Sounds like you might have issues with where you've spliced the looms together?
If you look at the ignition relay there is a wiring diagram for it drawn on it.
You can use that to check if you have all the feeds where they need to be.
As I said, the feeds for the Saxo ignition relays come straight off the bottom of the fusebox on their own plug connection on the engine loom, where as 106 they come from elsewhere! So even if you have connected all the wires across you won't have the feeds for the ignition relay as on a Saxo they don't come through that plug!
Unfortunately you might be a bit on your own from here on as it's a very individual fault as you've done the cutting and soldering!
Please don't just start fitting components

    Best of luck

thanks well i took relay live straight to battery for nw and still no luck i put the relay from furio in and i got 12v at coil pack with out cranking this is very strange it not guna beat me tho lol

does anyone have ryanmt's contact detals i just took fuel rail out and its not spraying fuel, pump is priming and returns to tank maybe thinking ecu problem nw

all sorted now spoke to ryan and he helped me sort it turned out to be a c2 coil pack wireing problem

    jobs a goodun
