   Any one else? I know a few years ago they werent needed for MOT but not so sure nowadays

   Took my brother's 306 for its MOT last month, didn't have a dust cover on the N/S and it passed without an advisory

   I had them on my coilovers, just adds protection to your shocks so shit don't get in.
   
   Would say they're not needed for mot as they're only there to stop debris ruining the shocks.
