neon wiring

hi any one no how to wire footwell neons up or any guides ? thanks !

Easiet/quickest way is to buy a cigarette lighter plug & run the wire for the neons off this.

I wired mine up to the light that goes in the back of the fag lighter so when u turn ur lights on the footwell neons come on to. Also run the wire up to a switch so I could turn them off if I need to even when the normal lights are on. Not sure if that will help or not

They are PC neons, not car neons.

seriously if u cant work out what to do with them put them in the bin.

u can clearly see there are two wires coming out of the box ones a poss ones a neg. hook em up as said in allthe other threads u have and bammm working

If you can decipher that. Wire them up as said, using the red as the positive and black as negative if that doesn't work, swap them over...

cut them off they are nowt to do with what u want all u need is the two wires that come out the black box a red and black extent them and wire them up to how ever u want to use them.
but honest by sounds of it safer to bin them or get someone who knows electricals as u risk fire if u dont do things properly

Right, Many things mate

1) They are for a desktop computer - This is what connects to them. A molex connection from a PSU (power supply unit). If you want to know how I know then I am an IT geek and used to have a custom build gaming PC... Proof:

I would also like to add I cannot see the little black connector clearly to tell you what that is...

2) When you ask for advice, please do not post loads of different threads asking the same question, its not needed... Also when people give you an answer dont ask the same question

3) DO NOT mess around with electrics if you have no idea what you are doing with them...

4) There should have been a wiring diagram that came with the "neons" Look at that

5) Buy a multi-meter before you ask any form of electric question and before you tackle any job that requires messing with electrics, if you do it wrong, your next post will be "Help, I screwed up"

Sorry too seem like a bit of a twat, but someone had to say it....

1) I do not, but rules are in place for a reason, you posted it once and you have had the answer,

2) Here is a molex wiring diagram for you...

4) Glad you are getting it sorted. that wiring diagram should help you out, You might also want to look into getting a switch so you can turn them on/off whenever you want.
If not get the 12v feed from somewhere where the 12v is only on when the car is unlocked (if you have central locking) or another 12v source when they key is in the ignition.
