   What are piggyback chips all about can't help thinking there 40+ hp boast is bullshit

   are totally diff to ebay bollox that claim x amount of bhp by fittin a resistor

   chip tuning is a thing of the past or for cars that can take a proper ecu map these days
   
   saxo ecu can be mapped pretty well without the need for a chip
   
   dependant on what mods youve got its probs pretty pointless

   The superchips "chip" is nothing more than a fancy anti copy device that randomizes the data if you try to read it outside of the ecu anyway, underneath its just a standard memory chip with a tweaked map on, same as the ones that are on ebay. (not to be mistaken with the resistor/piggyback ones in the OP)
