loom wire amps

   planning on relocating my ecu and other engine bay electrics to inside the car. just wonder whats the best wire to use or is the any restrictions to what size/ampage of wire to use?

   Best way is to get another loom mate and use that as the wires are the same spec and colour also helps figure out what goes where. I once saw a bloke extending a loom using all black wire and was a nightmare for any one else after he had done.
   
   Looms can be cheap as chips I got a new loom for a customers 106 gti a few weeks back for £35 quid.

   yeah i have a single plug loom but need a three plug loom. was wondering whether to chop it up or sell it and buy new wires etc
