saxo 1.1 steering problem

   problems with steering left when sat still or on the move . makes a sort of creeking noise like a old door that needs oiling im thinking powersteering pump but hoping it aint

   does sound that way unfortunatly, have you looked to see if theres an obstruction? also lign your steering wheel up straight and take a look to see if your wheels are not centered or if the camber (angle) is different or not true. good luck

   does sound like the pump justt strange it doesnt do it when turning right what sort of price do you think for a pump and can it be secound hand ?
