    I can get 1.5m x 1m for £13 trade price

the cast stuff is very expensive though, for the same quantity your looking at £30+ trade.

Looks great - I have tried this with a wrap before on some old bedroom furniture - its a right pain in the backside on a flat surface, god knows how you managed such a cool finish on a odd shaped piece.
Any pics of it in your Saxo?

if its clean surface the wrap should go on perfect. You can buy wraps with air release, these are commonly used by novies on bonnets, roofs etc

On a complex surface you need a cast wrap, this will be able to withstand more heat and be able to flex around corners, without losing the weave pattern or ripping.

9/10 times the so called 3M stuff sold on ebay, isnt actually 3M, its just a cheap copy. 3M isnt all its hyped upto be anyway.
