need some advice on buying car

    hi i saw a nice lookin silver vtr for sale earlyer, y reg no rust 80k on clock, 1 woman owner for 8 years so he said, and mot. its from a scrapyard though but i always see them for sale near the road side there. anyway i found out off someones mate who works there that its had the back axle changed. should i be worried about this? or is it a good thing that its been done. or would you guys stear clear of it? cheers

    Well the rear axle is a common thing to go wrong on saxo's so its not out of the ordinary, can't really say much else without seeing the car really..

    Its a good thing its been changed - just make sure you double check it for camber/play though incase they LIE!
