I fitted a new pump to my mates car and the power steering is still heavy! How long do they normally take to bleed before you get a regular feel from the wheel??
Pretty sure the pumps working because when I first put fluid through it required more and more untill it went through tr system and whn you turn the wheel the fluid goes up and down haha.

when bleeding the power steering jack the two front wheels up, turn the n engine on and slowely turn the steering from lock to lock. make sure power steering sluid is being poored in the the reservoir as the bubbles come up .. eventually the bubbles wiull stop and the system should work.. i done the smae thing to my saxo about 2 weeks ago and now its fine

well for bubbles to move out the system, they need to be at an agle so they can rise otherwise they will jsut sit there at and equil level .. lol and if they are not lifted, there is more pressure on the front wheels and then you are putting loads of pressure on the power steering while trying to bleed it ... will feel very heavy mate let me know how you get along!
