can this be removed

   hello people, any body know how this is removed and if its ok to be removed?
   
   (the thing with the 2 circles on) looks like its attached to the battery tray.

   If it's not attached to anything and doesn't effect the running of the car then yeah just lob it off.

   3 little nuts under the battery. (all one, well mine is)
   
   You take it off when you change to gearbox mount...

   Well yes lol. Theres a little square thing holding the battery down lol. Look at the front of the battery.
   
   Bit sticking out supports the airfilter box. lol.

   ah right i best not remove it then, just my strut brace is vibrating of my induction kit, but i cant move the kit down because this is in the way lol

   That piece comes out from under the battery tray as it is just a mount for the standard airbox

   As said above the standard airbox sits in those little grommets. If you undo the battery tray and remove it, then that part can be removed but there are two hoses clipped the underneath, just unclip them and it comes straight out. No need for it unless you have standard airbox.

   so its not part of the battery tray. the battery will still be well supported without it?

    no it is not part of the battery tray it is a separate part

    So basically if u havent got a standard air filter box u can remove it as it offers no support to the battery at all.

    haha. it took me ages to figure out what the vibration was lol, sounded really loud inside the car
