Vtr-s Randomly Cuts Out.

Well its weird when im driving its fine but sometimes when im going to stop i put the clutch and it just dies, starts up again everytime. I dont know why its doing it? It did it everynow and again before the old S engine shat itself but it does it alot now.

Bad Earth somewhere? Which earth could it be? Any other ideas?

    Thanks, Max

It won't be an earth mate as the car wouldn't start up again otherwise, sounds like it could be something to do with over or underfuelling if it cuts out on idle, like you might have some old or dodgy fuel in the tank

The fuel is 6 months old but i put another fresh 7 litres in. Havent used it all yet. Its random, its running abit rich but its got a decat so its nothing out the ordinary.

Idle control valve needs cleaning and if it still does it get a new icv. I had same problem and it got worse the more I left it and it caused eml to come on eventually

I cleaned it not long ago. I think i have a spare.

6 month old fuel will be no good mate and will need changing regardless of whether you have some fresh fuel in, drain it all out, and put new fuel in

Will do, the fact the idle control valve is seized is shit, need to get a new one now.

Is it seized on the car? If it is, then I'd just leave it on until you try to change the fuel, otherwise if the fuel doesn't solve it then try to get it off

Ive had it off and there is no movement in it at all.
