Carbs!

  1. #1
    Hey guys!

I have a 1.0L saxo MK2 but it has carbs, is there any (easy) way of getting it run with fuel injection without a new engine or new ECU?

If its carbed, you won't be able to convert it to injection without an ecu.
Lots of time and effort for little gain, would be easier to drop an injection engine in there.

Saxo engines didnt come with carbs. Have you got any pictures of your engine?

As Mochachino said, i'm not aware of any of the saxo engines running on a carb...stick up a picture of your engine bay

Yeah will be spi look very similar to a carb

yh no carb mate, single point injection. basically and electronically controlled carb, but iirc the multi point injection is direct in head not inlet so without either serious machine work to the head or swapping to a 1.4 head, a 'cheap' way for injection is a no go.
