Random creaks/squeaks

Hi guys, just a quick query and one I hope you can help me with as it is doing my head in!

When going over bumps or round sharper bends in my saxo, creaking and squeaking sounds, sometimes loud, sometimes quiet, are coming from the rear of the car

It might be completely harmless but it sounds like something is being placed under strain, it mainly comes from the left hand side at the rear, any ideas as to what it may be?

    Thanks

Could be a number of things mate!

Could be the rear damper bolt's are squeaking.. Try and wd-40 them up see if that get's rid of it?

I had a annoying squeak.. Pulled my hair out for days..

finally traced it back to the rear quarter, it was rubbing on the shell of the car.. So i pushed it out, and wedged cardboard between.

Can get a picture of where I mean if needed

Glad to hear its likely not to be serious lol, if you could get a picture that would be great, as long as it stops the squeak for another year or so

I've found the cause! if you open the tailgate, on the corners of the tailgate there are 2 rubber bits, that sit on raised metal bits of the car body, I've cleaned the areas up but they still make the same bloody noise, need to take them off somehow lol

Could you not grease them? Dry rubber of dry metal will squeek. You can get proper rubber grease but normal grease would do to try the theory
