    if i lower my vtr 60mm will i need stiffer shocks on the rear ?

    yes mate it will need stiffer shocks all round, but you can leave the standard ones on, they will just wear out quicker, it will also damage your bushes, so chances are you will need to replace them aswell mate. your best off buying new shocks at the end of the day mate!
