New Saxo, few teething problems

    Hello Everyone,

    I've just got myself a new Saxo vtr, Y reg, no mods to inside / electronics as far as I can tell.

    However, the horn, stereo and cig lighter do not work, nor does the "lights are on" when you open the door alarm.
    Thinking about it, nor does the rear de-mister ...

    Im guessing that its just fuses, but having never looked at a vtr before, and only drove my previous 1.1 saxo for a few months, I've got no clue where to start with fixing etc ... any help would be greatly appreciated

    Start checking fuses for blown ones dude. The fusebox should be behind a flap on the lower part of the passenger dashboard just above the bonnet release.

    Pull fuses, check for blown ones, replace as necessary. See what works after!

    If you have a handbook handy, that should tell you which ones to check, mines at home.

    Absolutely genius, I love this forum already

    Going to start my own thread soon - got a fair few plans for this little runner, starting with new brakes, new seats, new exhaust, fixing a few little things, total polish on the paintwork etc ... be a great way of documenting it
