dont know what i need to fit my bucket seats

    I have a set of universal buckets and a standard saxo vtr...

    how do i make buckets fit?

    i have no idea atol

    the seats have rails on to fit a hilux atm

    someone said the standard subframe would be fine just needed new rails?

    im lost thought it would be easy!

    No idea mate. Thought custom subframes were need to fit buckets.

    Right there.a million threads bout what u need to fit buckets.

    Either side mounts which are screwed to floor.

    Subframes and runners then bolted in

    Or if your good with a welder cut the old frames off original seats and weld on new seats.

    Then u need decide bout original seatbelt or harnesses as some subframes dont have attachment for original seatbelt

    got a spare set of standard seats so might go for the wleder option!

    how do you fit harnessess? do i need a mounting poiint or something

    Where the OE seatbelt rail is - one of the lap straps go there. And the other luckily fitted to my seat. Your seat might not have one of these.. so might have to weld a plate near the handbrake.

    and the shoulder straps can be attached to where the rear seat belt's bolted to.

    Some people bolt them where the clasp's was (under the rear seats) but it leaves a bad angle on harnesses. So i've bolted them to where the rear seat belt's was.. on the rear pillars.

    I used sparco sub frames a lot less hassle then cutting and welding your old seats
