anybody bought this? seems an easier solution just to buy this than solder a resistor in. Its just a plug in i guess?

Easier still and more free... Under the centre of the dash under the shit collection place and under carpet... Unplug the silver ecu box from everything... Sorted

Sorry mate, didnt realise you were making and selling them.

At the end of the day, if it saves people time and hassle and they are happy to pay the few quid extra than spend the time and effort buying the parts and putting it together, then fair play... thats how the world ticks

I`m not selling them lol,its just I saw the listing & posted it no worries.

i suppose for your average novice then yeah its not bad at all.

not everyone knows how to solder, or even what a resistor is lol

Is the airbag there? Nope... Then as long as the light is off then they cant fail you on it because its not there to function correctly... Same as no rear seats, no rear seatbelts needed...

WRONG WRONG WRONG new mot tests require you to have the dash light working even if airbag isnt present. So ripping it all out the light would not come on at all.
As Steve and others have said some novices won't know how to make one of these up, like myself but I only paid £4 for mine but it helps pass mot so well worth it.

I had mot light on as advisory bit it still lights correctly at ignition stage but if they wanted to be akward they could have failed it for that.

So if you got no light at ignition stage then i will have to agree with the other guy this will most certainly fail unless you get mot done over Bedford way lol.

Sorry buts that like saying i have no headlight bulbs so surely it will pass an mot as i only drive during the day
