Brake Calipers

Hi if i was to change the brake calipers on my saxo VTR are the calipers bigger than just standard 1.1 calipers ??? Would i have to get VTR ones for them to fit??

VTR hubs are 4 stud. Therefore, pretty much all other pug/citroen calipers are a direct fit. 206, 306, etc everything from the weedy 1.1 calipers, disks and pads up to the 406 brembo 4 pots all go on (the brembo's struggle under some wheels mind you).

Good choices are the 307 HDI discs and calipers, or 306 gti-6 setup.

1.1s are like cotton wool trying to stop teflon. Worse than useless. Avoid at all costs.

    as above - avoid

Use anything else you can get your hands on over 1.1 brakes - standard vtr/vts is fine for most, or go bigger with a 283 setup if you're into "illegal street racing, y0"
