holy shite!!!

   i may well have set my car on fire today if it wasn't for my keen sense of smell! My fuel pipe in the engine bay was leaking and it was only by chance that i smelt it, when i turned my fan on, i could smell burning petrol, the fuel had leaked down onto the exhaust and was burning on the hot exhaust! took it straight to a garage where my mate works and he replaced it for my, thank fook! dread to think what could have happened! :shock:

   How was it getting onto the manifold?... when mine sprung a leak it just ran behind the block and onto the inlet... I couldnt smell it I just had to lift the bonnet because I had electrical problems and there it was lol

   it wasn't touching the manifold. it was dripping behind the engine, onto the centre section of the exhaust right near the cat!!
