at power bodies - throttle cable

    Mine snapped, tried the mk2 vts cable but its far too long( even trying ro bodge it!), which one will I need? (This is for a mk1 vts btw)

    universal kits can be cut to required length irrc mate

    thats what normally comes as a replacement..or is that what you tried?

    No just managed to remove the one from my old mk2 and fitted it but was about 100mm too long

    yeah just go buy a replacement kit

    bout £12 and you cut them to lenght...i got a replacement rallye one a while back for my old rallye inlet conversion

    i bought a saxo cable kit for my jenveys and cut it to length? all kits are universal parts shoved in a bag anyway they will always be very long to cover a lot of applications

    I just used a vts throttle cable and cut it to size. Chris there should be a brass nipple for throttle cable on the at power bodies. You need that, it a 5 min job, cut to size fit nipple on the end. Fit in the bracket on the bodies.

    yeah we found that on saturday and soon got it running again
