Jason (Mandyslover) sent me a replacement bottom end (we think the first one he sent had a bent conrod
) and I believe this one is from a C2 VTS. All fits together OK and runs well just the new block doesn't have an oil return hole in it (to the right of where the dipstick enters the block) - usually has a tube from the back of the head dropping down into it.
I assume this is an evolution on the old block and for the moment I've blocked off the outlet hole in the head (same as I've done for the EGR valve as my 2000 VTS doesn't have one) with no adverse effects. Just wanted to ask if this is OK?
