Hey guys one of my rear wheels bolt won't tighten according to a friend the threads are non existent on the rear beam so is that a whole rear beam or can I just get the hub and get it fitted?

You`ve stripped the thread either get it heli-coiled,or get a new hub.

cant the thread be re tapped or died ???

Would make the thread bigger though - meaning 1 odd bigger bolt lol.

Helicoil is re-tapping then a insert is put in place so that you can use the original size thread.

Easiest option would be a new rear hub which you can buy for 30-50 will take half hour tops with the right tools

And from now on use a torque wrench to tighten the wheel bolts correctly. Too many people overtighten by bouncing on their wheel brace..

A torque wrench was used at the time and they just kept spinning

Go for a new hub mate, safer option.

i bought a second hand one off mandyslover had to buy an angle grinder, cutting disc, goggles, LM grease and a hub puller (cost less for me to buy all these bits than it was going to cost to get it done at a garage plus i got to keep all my new tools/materials that i just bought), when the hub is pulled off it usually leaves the inner race of the bearing on the stub pin which needs to be angle grinded off but have to be very careful not to damage the stub pin, then the pin was greased up and then the new/second hand hub was put on i managed to strip 3 out of 4 threads on my hub lol
