Hey my furio is a mk2, well it's got a mk2 front end and is on a V plate but my engine has the underfloor cat and mk1 style filter. It's annoying as I've been looking for a four branch manifold and obv been looking for a mk2 one and just realised I've not needed too. Anyway just wondering if early mk2s still had these or has it been played with by previous owner?
When did mk2 changes come into effect?

#2you've probably got a mk1 1plug engine so would need a mk1 manifold

#3v is really early v and w furios have the mk2 front end obvs as there furios and have single plug engines with a differnt dashbord loom that uses digital dials and the cats are under the car and mk2 effects came in on the x reg + from my experience of owning 6 Of them over the years

#7Just to say, my 1999 had mk2 front struts w/bearings and tapered shafts so be careful if you are buying new driveshafts and so on. Seems they just used whatever was to hand

#8Interesting point!, My t reg westys got mk2 struts just been playing in the dark when ordering shafts before i need a new drivers side one does anyone have any more information / pictures on this shaft matter ? as iv always been looky and bought the right one so far never encounted this problemQuote:Just to say, my 1999 had mk2 front struts w/bearings and tapered shafts so be careful if you are buying new driveshafts and so on. #9my 1999 mk1 has mk2 struts/shafts too lol

#10easy way to tell is if the driveshaft is tapered at the end before the splines that go into the hub. It also uses a larger hub nut, the mk1 hub nut is slimmer in depth.
