what turbo is this? numbers now up off the turbo

   got a turbo kit for my saxo and got told that is a t25 garret but looks more like the t28 ??? any idea
   
   
   
   
   I have been to my dads and got the numbers off the plaque and here they are
   Vl 0118j
   14411-40p01
   466135-1
   
   So still a t25 or t28 ???

   Its a t28 turbo which basically is a t25 turbine (hotside) and a t3 compressor (coldside)

   Whilst the above is correct (t28 is a t25 with a t3 hotside) the turbo above has 11 turbine blades (t25), not 10 as found on a stock T28 iirc
   
   Edit: also hard (impossible) to see from the photos but I can't see the large circlip holding the backplate on that's on a T28

   There is a circlip holding the compression side on and four bolts holding the exhaust side on

   I was sure I remembered the turbine wheel blades - I'll have to go research! Every day is a school day.

    Bump, numbers now up from the tag on the turbo hope this cleas it up haha, see then at the bottom in the first post
