URGENT! at a car park.

   ok I'm at a car park and my car won't start, the orange immobiliser is flashing and the car just keeps turning over, any advice please it done this once yesterday but started right away, anyone ????

   It sounds like the ecu has locked itself mate, it will need to be unlocked for it to start again

   If you get it running pull the transponder out under the passenger side of the dash (small black box) and you should be ok in future.
   
   In the meantime, unplug your battery for half an hour to try reset the ecu

   phoned aa and unplugged battery, what could be the reasoning for this anyone?

   Wire had feel off my starter motor and this hapend. Put a jump lead on your positive to the alternator see if thag will get u out mess and then get it chekd out

   aa guy came played about with a fuse disconnected battery and it started, even thought I'd taken the batter leads off about 6 times, ov not turned engine off can someone tell me how do bypass transponder or something?

   I can't see a box? Is it where the fuses are?

   its hard to find right up behind the glove box, get your head up there and feel around its a black box the size of a fag packet you unplug

    Am I best taking the glovebox out, BTW it done it again only once them went normal somethings defo not right but I'll have a good look around

    Under the dash by the bonnet pull right up and under (might be better to lay on your back in the footwell and look up) is a black box just bigger than a 20 deck of fags, start the car and unplug if fully. Job sorted.

    Now two things...
    
    I think i see it, it has a brown connector,
    And how do i unplug it, do o just pull the connector out? Or is unclip the edges then pull, looks like the connector that's on the rear lights, which to this day i haven't been able to work out,

    it slides off a little tab and hangs down for you to see if you pull it

    Ok iv pulled it out with the engine on, but when I start the car up there's still a picture if the key when I turn it to ignition, is this right?

    Lol I pulled out the wrong one, now if found the black box as it slips out like said, how do I unclip it though
