1.4 8v revving up on its own

   for a female friends 206,
   
   coming to lights/junctions as she dips the clutch revs rise up to around 3k,
   
   she had the throttle body changed and this worked for around two weeks,
   
   any ideas? lambda, crank/cam sensors ?

   is the butterfly sticking?
   
   sounds like mine, the tb isnt 100% free, need to get round to sorting it, however most of the times it's fine, i would check that first anyway.

   try the idle control valve - had the same problem on my vtr

   Usually one of the sensors on the inlet or sticky throttle/cable as mentioned

   Check vacuum pipes and connectors on ecu.
